I understand that adopting a dog is a lifelong commitment of up to 10–15 years and that the total adoption fee is £430 (a non-refundable £40 deposit plus £390 payable when transport is booked). I accept that a home check will be carried out before adoption and that follow-up visits may take place once my dog has settled. I am aware that these dogs often come from stressful environments, have travelled a long way, and may need up to 6 months to adjust. If, due to long-term illness or for any other reason, the dog can no longer remain in my care, I will inform Santerpaws Bulgarian Rescue, and all future rehoming must be arranged through them, even if the dog is going to friends or family. I will not give away, sell, or surrender the dog to another rescue, and I understand that full rescue backup will always be provided, usually through an independent foster, with transport to the foster being my responsibility. I confirm that all information I have provided is true and correct, and that this document will form part of the adoption contract. I also understand that by submitting this application, Santerpaws Bulgarian Rescue will store my information for their records only and will not share it with anyone else.
