🐾🤎 JACK — Our Long‑Term Boy Who Has Finally Found Safety 🤎🐾
My name is Jack. My birth date is 3rd October 2017.
I didn’t have the easiest start. As a tiny puppy, I was dumped at another shelter and never properly handled. I grew up frightened, unsure of people, and unsure of the world. Everything felt overwhelming, and learning to trust has taken me a very long time.
But slowly — and with a lot of patience — I’ve begun to change. I’ve learned that not every hand is something to fear. I’ve learned that kindness exists. And I’ve learned that I can take small steps forward when I’m given space, understanding, and time.
Even with all this progress, I’m still a very nervous boy, and the world outside the rescue would be too much for me. Jack is a long‑termer, and he will live his life here at the shelter, where he feels safe, settled, and understood.
This is his home. This is where he is happiest. And this is where he will stay, surrounded by people who love him exactly as he is.
I am lovingly sponsored by Taran Spero, whose support helps ensure I have everything I need for the rest of my days.
Jack may never leave the shelter, but he is loved, protected, and finally at peace — and that’s what truly matters.
