I came into this world already facing battles most puppies never have to face. I was born with several birth defects, and my journey has been filled with challenges from the very beginning. The vets have done everything they can, and the team has explored every option — but the truth is, I will never be able to live safely or comfortably in a home environment.

I won’t ever be available for adoption. And that’s okay. Because my story isn’t one of sadness — it’s one of love.

I live at the shelter with Justine, surrounded by people who adore me, understand me, and make sure every single day is filled with comfort, enrichment, and joy. I may not have a “forever home” in the traditional sense, but I do have a forever family — right here, where I’m happiest.

I play. I explore. I nap in the sunshine. I’m loved, protected, and celebrated for exactly who I am.

My journey isn’t about finding a home — it’s about living a full, happy life in the place where I’m safest. And while I may never leave the shelter, I hope people will follow my story, cheer me on, and keep me in their hearts.

Because I’m Mac — A brave little soul, A fighter, And a boy who loves life exactly as it is.
