Sandy

Sandy is doing brilliantly in her foster home and is really starting to show her sweet, quirky personality. She’s fully housetrained and happily does all her business outside. If she’s fast asleep she can startle and give a little bark when someone enters the room, but her foster is already working on building her confidence around this.

She knows her name, comes when called, and loves to potter around following her person from room to room. She’s also a little shoe and sock collector — she’ll gently steal them and take them to her bed or the garden, but she never chews them and is perfectly happy to hand them back.

Sandy has just begun her harness training and has only been on short walks so far, but she’s taking everything at her own pace and her foster is continuing to help her learn. She eats well, sleeps downstairs in her crate (door open), and is a very chatty little character who loves to “talk”.

She currently lives with another dog and a cat with no issues. Sandy is unsure around loud, boisterous children, so a calmer home with older children 8+ would suit her best.

Sandy is currently in foster in Truro, Cornwall and is ready to meet her new family or an urgent foster home.
